other than that...honestly I don't think any of them are really that awesome. They're hot yeah but they don't have that certain spark. And yeah..the brown bikini needs to go..maybe red?

anonymousername, what I usually do if I get numbed by all the mechanisms and impersonal learning environment is take a break and read some medical humanities (e.g. medical sociology, bioethics, narrative medicine, etc.) Try it. It might help.

Not being honest with your wife is a failure IMO. He should have just divorced her and moved on.

Both spouses cheating on each other behind their backs - whatever.

Open marriage, acknowledged extramarital affairs - whatever.

Cheating on someone who believes the marriage is exclusive - dick move.

i had one tonight 🙂 it was excellent. now i am doing intense hw (read: sdn and lab work) with a huge glass of cab.

I had meatloaf, so a pseudo steak dinner haha, which was good. I opted for the hoppier refreshment of an extra pale ale though.

I make a quite delicious meatloaf. If we run into each other on the interview trail you might be lucky enough to experience my cuisine. It's just easy to make and then get a few meals out of it throughout the week.

i remember putting ketchup on it. i thought it was cool because it's like a version of a hamburger that you eat with a fork and knife. like the king's version of hamburger.

Nah. That'll just create another MexicanDr fiasco. I think most of the girls here know better now. With that said, if it is created I'll probably still check it out, for amusement if the creepish comments emerge (almost inevitable) and for genuine input if they don't.

Anyway, 3,1,2,4 for me. None is ideal, of course, but I certainly wouldn't call them bad.

To address the OP's question, do stuff like this! Okay, not exactly THIS. What I mean is just take some time each day to do anything fun or interesting that has NOTHING to do with science or medicine. Whatever it is also shouldn't feel like work otherwise it defeats the purpose. This should allow you just a little bit of unwinding space. It'd be even better if you change up your activity, whatever it may be, so it doesn't get too old and routine. If you can find a way to inject a little spontaneity into your day somehow, you'll be set.

Then again, maybe it's like you said: You just need another 3 day weekend. If nothing else, just stick it out til spring break. You'll feel better then.

Mexico, Puerto Rico, Nicaragua, Republica Dominicana. That's how it goes for me. Mexico and Puerto Rico are pretty close, but I gave it to Mexico cause she has something that put her over the edge. 😱
