I'm a high school student who applied to some ba/dds combined programs and received an interview. I'm pretty nervous because I'm not sure what to expect. Can anyone give me some tips? The interview is with the undergraduate dean not with the dental school. Will I need to know a lot of information about dentistry? Thanks

if its with the undergrad dean, i doubt you need to talk too much about dentistry. Just why you are interested in dentistry and why you are considering dentistry so early. Have you had dental shadowing experiences? If you have had any volunteer or service experiences, you should talk about those as well. What school did you apply to?

Wow good for you bud!!!!! I would have some friends or teachers give you mock interviews that should help out a lot. I dont think they will ask too much about dentistry, maaybe a few things that INFNITE mentioned above. I am sure that they will want to make sure you are mature enough to handle a program like that. Also it gives you a chance to explain to the dean why you will fit into this program......... Good luck!!!
