hi guys

i wanna talk to you about serious something in my career life

since i was in high school i hate biology(i thought that the reason is my teacher), yeah really i were suck in it but for sure i LOVE math and physics

but unfortunately i joined in a pre-dental school cuz i heard from a lot of people that dentistry it's not all about biology and my friend also joined a pre-med school and it gave the passion that i could become doctor! why not?! AND I want my parents be proud of me (the main reason)

after one year in pre-dental school i figured that i'm not suitable for dental school( i got D in Biology also D+ in chem but A+ in math , and phys)..

i don't know what to do..should i get out of dental school ? but the pressure of may parents will be ashamed of me it hurting me a lot also people's look to me

as i said i love math , physics and i also love technology (multimedia things)

i really want someone to help me like career counselor or something because i don't wannna spend one more year of my life in something that i don't like it but i don't know the pressure, people's talk

help me please!

should i get out of this dental school?

or stay and try hard in studying to make my parents proud ? ( my dad owed to get me in dental school which every time i remembered it, i think i should stay in dental school and forget about everything)

i'm really in a difficult situation something told me over and over again to change my career

i took some major quizzes in internet but my many people said these aren't real l don't trust in these thing

give me advices i really think that you'll help me!

Sounds like you'd really like engineering. Why not give that a shot? Your parents would approve of that wouldn't they?

it would help if you learned how to write gooder

i think you should should shadow a dentist or a doctor and see if its something you would like to do with your life. I think you should shadow them for a decent amount of time (more than 3 weeks) to get a good idea of what their job is really like. if you want to stay as pre-dental or pre-med you can still fix your biology grade by finding study tips/skill books and reading/applying the stuff you read to your homework. studying for math/physics is way different from studying for biology. its a lot of memorizing.

if you dont want to do dentistry, have an honest discussion with your parents and switch your major.im sure you dont want to work 12+ hours every day in a job you hate. dont worry about what other people say, its your life. i dont know you, but i think you might make a good teacher, you can guide the students to what they want to do/ugh dreams. someone in the thread also said engineer, that sounds good too. people dont look down on engineering like they do to other majors.

👍

You sound like you would love engineering. Engineering is a better career than medicine in many ways.

Pre-dental school? Trolling, you're doing it wrong. 👎

You need to go to the Derek Zoolander center for kids who can't read good.
