Hello all,
As the ERAS submission approaches, I am deciding which internal medicine programs to apply to, so I thought I'd post here to get some advice. My stats:
Medical School: American MD. Mid Tier/Lower Mid Tier in Northeast.
Step1: 251
AOA: Invited to apply to Junior AOA (top 25% from first two years is invited), not selected. No word yet on Senior AOA.
Third Year Clerkship: Honors(IM, Surgery, Ob/gyn, Neuro, Psych); High Pass(Peds, FM, basically my first two rotations)
Fourth Year Clerkship: EM(No grade yet but likely high pass)
Research: 10 products (all non IM related): 6 abstracts (2 first author, 1 second author, 1 third author, 2 fourth author); 3 Posters (1 first author, 2 third author); 1 award for winning poster competition
Research experiences: 4
Volunteer experiences: 3
Based on the above stats, which programs would be good target programs for me? which programs would be reaches for me?
Let me know if I should include anything else.
Thanks in advance!
