I'm only a first year med student, but I heard an M3 mention this and it really intrigued me. Has anyone ever heard of any programs doing an Internal Med/Radiology program? Or is that something that you'd simply have to do a dual residency for?

Dual residency. There is no combined IM/radiology program, as far as I know.

All radiology programs require that you do your first year (= your intern year) in IM, surgery, or a transitional year. That may be what the "IM/radiology" comment is actually referring to - someone who did an IM intern year, and then a radiology residency.
