I am osteopathic 4th yr Med student doing the allopathic Match, I have interviewed at 7 allopathic programs and 2 Duallly accredited thus far and wondering how many more interviews I needed to Match succesfully this season.

According to the above, in a trial of n=22, the median was 144 licks with range 70-222 =)

Not sure about data on DOs, but based on the latest Charting Outcomes in the Match dataset, US seniors who matched into IM had a median of 10 contiguous IM programs in their rank list. US seniors who failed to match into IM had eight.

Of US seniors who had 7 "contiguous ranks" within IM (ie. having 7 interviews), 233 matched successfully and only 6 did not. Looks like your chances are great!
