Hey all you OSU interviewees that were waitlisted! Has anyone called OSU lately? I'm too chicken to call. (Which is really odd for me😕 ). I'm just wondering if anyone has any news, since the UPS man/woman keeps getting lost on their way to my house.

I have emailed my interviewers. So far I have heard back from one (in less than 24 hours). He is very enthusiastic about helping me, which is what I have come to expect from OSU. One of the many reasons I like them best.

If they are your top choice, give them a call, or write to your interviewers.

Yea, thanks jk. I went ahead and called. I wrote thank yous to my interviewers and Dr. Stewart and the adcom so... I spoke with Sara today and she told me pretty much what I already expected. It could be anywhere between now and July.🙁 I'm not really sure what I was expecting to get when I called. I'm just really anxious, probably no more than anyone else. OSU is the only school to which I applied. It't the only school I want to attend. There are mutiple reasons why so... I guess more waiting is in order. She did say that everytime they are contacted they mark it down so, maybe I will check in more often.

You should write a formal, professional letter telling them that, and detailing your multiple reasons. Let them know why you are what they are looking for. Others like me are doing it, and might beat you to the seat. 😉

I just called the admissions director to ask my status and she was so friendly! Try that or the online page where you use your pin#...they want you to check that first.

About the waitlist letters, do you guys know if they waitlist OOS students? Or do they either accept or reject? I also heard that they usually accepted oos students first before the instate students?

I've never heard medicineman. Did you interview on the 14th with me, and if so are you the gentleman from AR or UT?

I am from Missouri. I am NOT from Oklahoma. I got waitlisted. I did not get accepted nor rejected. Hellooooooo. 🙄

BTW the UPS man came by last night to drop off a Christmas package from in-laws and I almost had heart failure from exitement, then from dissappointment 🙁 . AHHH! 🙂 🙂

I sent my letter today. I don't expect they'll open it until about January 2nd. That means I won't hear anything until probably late January at the EARLIEST, if at all. Boy that will be pushing the March 15th deadline when I have to send KCUMB another $1000. 🙁

Ok, I heard from OSU today. Leah called me because the committee was reviewing my file today 🙂scared: !!!???) and she wanted a transcript for this semester's grades. Needless to say, I scrambled around wildly to get them in. But this also tells me that they were reviewing everyone's today. Sooooo....my guess is they made some decision today, and will be sending notifications out when they come back from Christmas break, which is on January 3.

Just thought I would give everyone an update, I know this is so nervewracking.

Merry Christmas, everyone!!! And don't sweat OSU....we'll hear after the New Year.

Well thanks for the info Hollsky.🙂 That just makes me more nervous because they didn't call for my grades for this past semester . I recieved two A's but still...They didn't call me... AHHHH!!!

Sorry, tension breaker. Had to be done. i feel better now...
