Hi everybody,
I just took the DAT and am worried about my scores. I got 17-AA and 20-PAT. Any recommendations for schools to apply to? I have a 3.6 science GPA and a 3.5 overall GPA. I have two B.A. degrees, one in film and the other in philosophy. What are my chances? Any advice? Thanks.

Considering your low areas are in the SNS. I would retake in 3 months. Your PAT, QR and comp are competitive, but your science will hurt you. With some practice and more studying I would say you should beable to get your scores up. What did you use to prepare this time around?

Yea I agree, you are golden with your GPA, RC, and PAT. But you need to probably have to retake it because of your sciences. Some schools have cut-off at 16s, which means any scores less than 16s are automatically rejected. But if you study and practice more in science you should be fine. You still have plenty of time to retake it. Dont be down tho, just think of it like you can do whole lot better than this and work on it!!

right, your sciences are low, but I think you should visit your school advisor and talk to them before retaking it, because a friend of mine had a gpa of 3.2, and 17 on his science on DAT, 21 in PAT, got accepted USC, and another friend of mine got 17 on DAT with 3.5 and got no where. it depends. so you never know.

if you're worried.. you should retake it. 16's in sci is not very competitive.
