Just trying to weigh in on my chances and options to apply for categorical/prelim match in 2016?
Step 1: 251
Step 2: 260
CS: Pass First Attempt
I'm a US IMG and plan on applying for general surgery in the upcoming match and would like to know some thoughts on applying for prelim vs categorical?

Your scores are great. You definitely have a chance. Apply to as many categorical positions as you can afford and apply to about 5-10 preliminary positions in case things don't work out.
