there is nothing wrong with nursing - it's a really great job and yes the shortage is huge...but why would you wanna graduate from a foreign med school and do nursing?
why didn't you just go into nursing in the first place? nursing and medicine aren't the same job...though based on the same sciences and there is a lot of overlap, they have different functions. i know this because my father is a doctor and my mother is an RN.
they're both good jobs but i feel that if you went to med school, you were doing it because you wanted to do what a doctor does...diagnose, give treatment, checkup on patients as opposed to what a nurse does - give them direct higher level attentative care until they can leave the hospital.
