I've read several posts on shadowing doctors but I haven't seen any reference relevant to IMGs.

Is it possible and/or legal for an IMG to shadow a US doctor either in private practice, clinic or hospital?

Anyone have experience with this?
 
If you are still a student, you can do an elective. If you are a graduate, you should look for observerships.
