    2yr boy has had repeated otitis media and pneumonia.serum IgM AND IgG are 25 and 120mg/dl respectively.he has low levels of NADPH oxidase and +ve nitroblue tetrazolium test,whats the diagnosis?
    a CGD
    b digeorges
    c SCID
    D w-aldrich syndrome
    e x linked agammaglobulinemia

    pls explain...thanks

    The answer is D. A positive NBT dye test indicates the patient does not have CGD regardless of the low NADPH oxidase levels(cross out A). He has immunoglobulin(cross out B, C, and D).
