So this is for MWU-IL, right? is it everything? I haven't had any chance to go over the letter from them. I might just use this list 🙂

lol i copied/pasted it here 😛
the list is costly :hurting:

Don't you have health insurance? I don't think I've ever paid for a vaccination.

Yeah that seems like a lot but some are tied together. You'd be surprised of how many you don't still need to get. Although, I know that you have to get a TB test within 6 months of matriculating though.

Some doctor somewhere has a record of your vaccinations you got. You need to just call them up and have them send it to you or go in to get your records... I know MWU offers some of the immunizations/titers so you can always go there!

Call high school, college, old doctors first.
You've probably received most of these vaccinations already. Get titers for mos if needed. TB test is generally mandatory before entering clinic.

If you did not get varicella vaccination and/or booster, and you are able to (live vaccine), you should. Chicken pox in adults and shingles are very painful.
For medical reasons, you can sign a waiver if you cannot receive live vaccines.

Based on your post, you're probably due for Tdap and flu. Pneumonia vaccine is recommended every 10yrs (I think) for healthy pt, 5 for immunosuppressed.

Btw you should want to be vaccinated. You will see patients in clinic that have some of these diseases, and patients often don't know what disease they have, medication they take, deliberately withhold info, or haven't seen a physician yet.

Don't have any records of them.

Just get titers done. Double benefit:

1) you actually know whether or not your vaccinations worked (I discovered upon titer that my Hep B from when I was a kid wasn't effective, which is one that you REALLY want to work)

2) you will save a bunch of money vs getting all the shots again

You should have already gotten almost all of those to even be able to go to elementary school. If you still have contact with your mother, ask her for those records, I'm sure she has them somewhere. If you've had chicken pox as a child, you don't need that vaccine.

Some of the vaccines you listed overlap. For example, if you get Tdap, you don't need Td; if you do the Two step TB, you don't need One step TB; etc.

All the above. Call past schools/doctors. Also if you need some shots... GO TO YOUR LOCAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT! A lot will be free, or like $5.
