Impact of wrongful institutional action?

I'm on the pre-MSTP track, and was wrongfully found guilty of a student conduct code violation. I've exhausted all potential actions and bureaucratically there is nothing I can do to clear my name. My appeal and evidence have been disregarded. The violation is of non-academic nature and before anyone asks, no it doesn't have anything to do with theft/alcohol/substance abuse/noise/partying/not moving out in time/violence/assault/anything with malintent.

The system failed me and the "let the truth set you free" unfortunately did not happen.

Aside from this, I have an incredibly strong application. Are my chances at MSTP effectively over, and does anyone have experience/input as to what I should do at this point? Or, will the programs be understanding as my case is quite straightforward (just requires a lengthy explanation), and I have the support of a department head directly involved (they will be writing for me a letter of support)?

It really will depend upon what the infraction is. You could post int he Confidential Consult forum, or PM. me

Not all IAs are the same, and the younger you are when they occur, the better.

Having a LOR from a Faculty member who knows the details will help
