My last molar (not wisdom tooth), is impacted, and has been since I was a teen. A little piece does stick out.

Can it be saved? Or is the only treatment option to yank it out?

Sounds like a consult to me. Not the place to it.
The best person to answer that question is your family or specialist dentist
 
This is not a consult.

Its a scenario question for my A&P class.
