Hello,

I had previously learned that there were no situations where you could report a driver for impairment due to a medical condition (epilepsy), but you would try to get the patient to self-report themselves.

However now I see in FA2016, that it says you can break confidentiality in that situation.

What is the correct thinking for step 1?

Mandatory physician reporting varies from state to state so not sure if it's fair game.
