important fafsa question

i gave deposits to two schools and they already recieved my fafsa form since i wrote down on the fafsa form to send it to all the schools i applied to. however i am still waiting for my #1 choice to give me an answer if i am rejected or not. do the schools that i put down a deposit in get the loans for me right now or they wait to see if i really attend?

They SUBMIT your name for federal loans, etc., and get everything situated, but they don't get the loans for you right away. You'll still have to sign promissory notices prior to actually receiving any loans.

(You can even return your loans within a certain period of time after physically receiving them without any adverse effects).
