If we are matched do we know the program we matched into on the 14th of March or do we have to wait untill the 16th?

The PD's know the day before Match Day as to who matched at their respective programs. This is something I heard last year. Of course, they're not allowed to tell us but I'm sure this rule has been violated considering that rules are broken during the application season.
