As I arrived at my mailbox after a long day of exams, I saw an envelope with the ADA logo on it. "What could this be," I thought-------they were my "supposed" NDBE results! WTF 😡 😡 😡 I am scheduled to take the boards part I 08/15--I haven't even taken them yet!
So, I call the ADA and at first I get an attitude from the lady who took my call. "You took the boards, don't tell me did not. What are you trying to pull" she said. As I realized the futility of the situation I proceeded to give her all my personal info. And still she said "sir, you took the boards. You go to UNC, you SS# is...YOU TOOK THE BOARDS!" Long story short: I was transferred to the supervisor and she had no clue what was going on. Basically, I had to repeat the whole situation to her. "Oh, I see what happened," the new lady said. The computer made a mistake. The reference# on the scores you received matches with another person's name AND your name. I'll clear it right up, she said.
I then asked, "so, basically, random mistakes could happen such that wrong reference #'s could get attached to two people who were actually waiting for scores and they would not think anything of the scores they received? After all, both people who took the boards were waiting for scores and scores is what they got?" Well, that's computers for you," she said.
So, remember this scenario when you get your scores. Another student from across the pond could be in celebration (of what are actually your scores) and you could be calling prometric rescheduling to take part I again.
Anyways, they had no record that I even had a date scheduled, so I retrieved the ADA test-date confirmation letter they sent to me and they still could not find it. "I am looking at the confirmation letter you sent me", I said. The response in a nutshell, "that's done automatically by computer."
Anyway, I was told to show up at Prometric on Aug 15th and "everything should be OK."
Talk about sketchy.
