Your plans are solid gold. Just stick with them. And then aim high.

Your grades and MCAT are stellar, but lack of quality clinical experience may hold you back. Committees look for significant patient involvement. Volunteering in a ER is great for saying you volunteered in a ER, but having done it myself, there is not that much interaction with patients. I'd look for a position in a local free clinic or something alike where you can interact with patients - med schools love that.
