Hi everyone,

I posted a while back about choosing between OT and PT and I've decided to definitely pursue OT! Super excited to get started but the application process is leaving me with even more questions...

1) The state schools closest to me both require Neurology w/Lab. Does anyone know of any place that offers this in an online format?? It's only offered during the day around here and I can NOT leave or cut back hours at my regular job

2) If that is not possible, the only other pre-req I still have to take is abnormal psychology. Are there any additional classes that would be helpful or 'recommended?' I think at this point my application would be....average. Nothing that really stands out.

3) A few years ago I was considering applying to PT or PA schools and therefore have a bunch of other science classes completed (post-bacc). Grades are good except for Organic Chem, which i bombed with a D+ . I know OTCAS will average all grades, but will adcom members look down on the indecisiveness?

4) My overall GPA is probably around a 3.1 or 3.2 because of the Orgo grade, but MOT pre-req's are probably closer to 3.6 I would estimate. I'll be retaking the GRE's, more shadowing, etc....what else can I do to make my application stand out??

5) Should I apply this upcoming cycle (with possibly some in-process grades) or wait another cycle?

Thank you everyone!!
