Hey all....

I've been flipping through PCAT review books for the past couple months or so and I seem solid on every section but the vocabulary part with antonyms and analogies....I never thought my vocabulary sucked so bad until now. Does anyone have any advice for me or other future PCAT test-takers on how to improve your vocab? Right now I am subscribed to two new email "word-of-the-days" through www.m-w.com and www.dictionary.com. It seems like more of a daunting task to improve my vocab, than anything else on that exam. I mean the math looks very simple, and the bio and chem are taken care of at school.

I think the kaplan pcat book gives u a list of 1600 words or something to read and learn.

That should be "sucked so badly".😛

All kidding aside, try doing crossword puzzles. That way, you get a definition and you learn the word. I like to do them while soaking in the bathtub.

My friend at school scored poorly on the vocabulary portion of the PCAT, but she still got in. Don't worry too much about it. Most schools are more interested in your science scores.
