Maharashtra health minister can soon practise allopathy | Latest News & Updates at Daily News & Analysis

We may have nurses, PAs, and everyone else on our heels trying to take our jobs, but at least homeopaths can't practice allopathic medicine here. Yet. I guess this should be taken as one of those warnings, where we see just how far down the rabbit hole things can go. Remember to stay politically active when those of you that get into medical school eventually do, and fight this sort of nonsense at the state and national level so that our profession isn't completely usurped by hacks and quacks. All to often people graduate residency and just say screw it, I'm taking my cash and living my life, I don't have the energy to keep the world from burning down around me. Don't be that guy/girl. Make a difference, even if it's a small one.

I mean, I'll be real w/ ya Jack, I'll vote but that's about it. I consider handling my own life to be quite a challenge in of itself.

If I ever hear about a trailblazing physician-turned-politician though, I'll assume it's you and will certainly shoot a FEC-maximum campaign donation your way 😛
