I just wanted to mention, that after being in CA for SAEM, I have finally been to In-N-Out Burger.

"And yes, Donny, we can stop at the In-N-Out Burger..."

F*** it, let's go bowling....

Oh the things I would do for a big, juicy Double-Double.....

(or a 4x4 animal style)

I tip my cap to the man that orders a 4x4 animal style. If I saw a woman do it, I'd probably marry her on the spot, morbidly obese or not.

I forgot to mention, I was in San Diego a few weeks ago for vacation and got to try the In-n-Out. Pretty damn tasty, but I just got them the standard way. What are all the variations?

SanDiegoSOD, what part of Rural Georgia are you in?

The Hidden In-N-Out Burger (aka In and Out Burger) - The Most Accurate Secret Menu

In-N-Out Burger has a secret unpublished menu for insiders who are In-The-Know. Next time you're at In-N-Out (i.e. tomorrow . . . or maybe tonight), order a bag of these off-the-menu specials:

"3-by-3" = three meat patties and three slices of cheese.

"4-by-4" = four meat patties and four slices of cheese.

"2-by-4" = two meat patties and four slices of cheese.

*Note: You can get a burger with as many meat patties or cheese slices as you want. Just tell the In-N-Out Burger cashier how many meat patties and how much cheese you want and that is what you'll get! For instance, if you want 6 pieces of meat and 10 pieces of cheese tell them you want a "6-by-10."

"Double Meat" = like a Double Double without cheese.

"3 by Meat" = three meat patties and no cheese.

"Animal Style" = the meat is cooked and fried with mustard and then pickles are added, extra spread and grilled onions are added.

"Animal Style Fries" = fries with cheese, spread, grilled onions and pickles (if you ask for them).

"Protein Style" = for all you low-carbohydrate dieters, this is a burger with no bun (wrapped in lettuce).

"Flying Dutchman" = two meat patties, two slices of melted cheese and nothing else - not even a bun!

Fries "Well-Done" = extra crispy fries . . . even better than the regular!

Fries "Light" = opposite of fries well-done, more raw than most people like 'em

"Grilled Cheese" = no meat, just melted cheese, tomato, lettuce and spread on a bun.

"Veggie Burger" = burger without the patty or cheese. Sometimes we call this the "Wish Burger."

"Neapolitan" Shake = strawberry, vanilla and chocolate blended together.

The friendly employees of In-N-Out Burger will take your special order without question, if you use the right terminology. The printed receipt will have your special request typed on it just as we said it.

Griffin, about 45 mins south of Atlanta off the 75. You know the area?

Oh, and as far as the variations go: http://www.tiburon-belvedere.com/cgi/home.cgi?c=In_N_Out
This pretty much sums it up. Thanks for starting this thread, guys, I just drooled all over my tie.

Oh, you folks are killing me!

I am californian who has been out of the country for 5 months now and who hasn't eaten in nearly 8 hours. What I would give for a In-n-Out burger now!

What would you give? (that´s a potential post-padding thread)

It will be my first stop after landing back home. uhhhhghghgh....

I'm from a little podunk about 2 hours southwest of there. What are you doing in Griffin?

Do you know how much I want to make a pilgrimage to Cali JUST for a freakin fast food place?

I can imagine, especially if you're living in Baltimore. The fastfood in DC was awful when I lived there, I can imagine how bad it is in Baltimore 😱

Hey!

We Baltimorean's don't have enough teeth with which to munch on some of the more gourmet varieties of fast food.

Damn you.

Nah, DC and Baltimore have pretty much all the same fast food places.

MMM''... Burgers...

Its only 930 am and I want to eat a burger now.

I have eaten at In and Out before and can agree it is great. What about some of the Midwest's finest: White Castle and Rally's. I could really go for a Big Buford right now. I think that Rally's has some of the best fries in the world.

I grew up in miami and miami subs is real good.. but the best cheese steaks are located in philly. Pats, Genos, Mikes etc.. are all great.. Different but excellent.

Well, considering that In-N-Out only has burgers, I don't forsee anyone claiming best cheesesteak status. 😉

But they *are* incredible burgers.

Maybe it's because I'm from California, but I've never really understood the cheesesteak. They're just so boring... (and yes, I've had the real deal, so no chastizing me for that 🙂)

Boring? You gotta get em all souped up.. With cheeze Whiz onions, peppers and such... Yummy..
