Does it happen that the only in-state public school yield-protects and ghosts IS applicants? A tiny state no less.
I know!! I’ve been courting them left and right by sending them LOI and blah blah... no answer. So weird.Seems highly unlikely. Most people will choose their instate public school due to cost and convenience. The school would have no reason to yield/resource protect.

Yeah. I am totally ignored by my only state school....I guess the caveat is that we have four state schools and I got an II from the “highest ranked” one. But yes, getting ignored from the one in the city where I grew up!!!
Yeah. I am totally ignored by my only state school....
yeah, I just want to get that interview out of the way. I feel that they might just wait till Feb to offer an II at this point and wait for me to turn it down...Same, nothing from the school 10 minutes from my family’s home and nothing from my current undergrad ...
I always felt like they’d just hold you in their back pocket till the end, knowing you’ll take the ii/offer no matter what and focus on other candidates ... but i may be overthinking thisyeah, I just want to get that interview out of the way. Or they just know you are not likely to matriculate given your stats but can't get rid of you because you are IS, so they just wait till the last minute to throw you an II and you say no.I always felt like they’d just hold you in their back pocket till the end, knowing you’ll take the ii/offer no matter what and focus on other candidates ... but i may be overthinking this
