Does residency have preferences for in-state residents? If so, if i'm currently at an out of state school applying for a residency in my home state would that still count as in-state? Thanks.

Hi

I don't think there are preferences for in-state residents. What matters are the internal applicants, from the same institution (if they are good, obviously). Then come the US grads, then the IMGs.
