In the school selections and WAMC subforums , is it possible for OP to remain anonymous?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.

For those us who like their anonymity, I feel this would be much appreciated.

Plus making a throwaway account just to post a school discussion is an annoyance.

IDK how feasible this in terms of the coding, but if its possible, I'm sure many would appreciate it!

Edit: This would be nice for the WAMC forum as well.

It is entirely possible
Also you have to do is hide username
My coding is very rusty
But when you are retrieving info from the database all you have to do is not retrieve usernames on that specific sub forum
And ta da
Anonymity

Well probably a bit more, but yeah..

Just a heads up, if you were trying to make the user in your screenshot anonymous, you forgot to white out the small sig below his post "name, yesterday at 7:36 pm"

I would have preferred the option for anonymous posting, if it was available, when doing WAMC.

Wouldn't it be easier to just create a throwaway? Maybe just don't enforce the no-sockpuppet rule within that subforum?
