In what order should I do: TBR, EK, self-assesament, etc.

Hey everyone,

In my possession I have the EK and TBR content books. I will be purchasing the official AAMC practice tests and the self assessment soon along with the TBR CBTs.

Question: How would you best organize all of these things?

For example, I was thinking, maybe do EK, the AAMC self assessment, and then TBR interspersed with practice tests. Note: I'm taking the MCAT on August 28, so I have plenty of time. I've decided which products to use, but now I'm trying to figure out how to organize everything. Thoughts?

Edit: please excuse misspelling in thread title

Start with EK to for big picture stuff. Use BR for topics that you find confusing. Use SA when you are done with content review. Or you can just finish EK then just jump straight onto SA and use BR as reference points for more in depth review.

You should use BR review if you don't know a topic well and EK if you know it well. Once you've reviewed a chapter, you should do BR phase I passages before anything else. The reason for this is that the answer explanations are superb, and that's where you do the majority of your early learning. Follow this with BR Phase II. After this it's up to you whether you do EK or BR Phase III, because by this point you'll know the material quite well and won't count on the answer explanations as much.

The assessment can be done in parts as you feel competent in a particular subject area. Use that t decide how much you need to go back and review or whether you're set to keep going.
