INBDE Pass Breakdown

I took my exam on October 8th and 9th, 2026, and recently found out that I passed! My results were posted in less than two weeks.

I purchased the 90-day Booster subscription, and it was essentially the only resource I used to study for the INBDE. I studied for around 3 months, spending about 2 hours a day during the first month and increasing to 4–6 hours a day during my last month. I started each section using the videos then I used the notes for a more detailed understanding but for the most part the cheat sheets are enough especially if you are short on time.

I used Booster’s question banks the most, I did each question bank at least 2-3 times. The video explanations were especially helpful for harder questions.

The mock exam was probably the most helpful to prepare for the exam. It’s structured the same as the real exam (even including the delay between questions lol). I set up for the mock as if I was taking the real exam and took all the breaks. This helped me mentally prepare and know what to expect. The questions on the mock were representative as well.

The main topics that stood out to me were patient management and pharmacology. The clinical scenario questions on the day 2 were actually easier than Booster. I would recommend being comfortable with clinical scenarios, treatment decisions, and medications. Definetly read each question twice and use the strike out option because sometimes the wording of questions was tricky or there was 2 good answers. Just go with your gut and don’t change you answer unless you can really justify it. There wasn’t as much ethics as I expected on my exam. Of course, every exam is different, so I would still review all the major subjects rather than relying on a specific topic.

Good luck everyone! You’ve got this!
