incision and drainage vs incision and curetagge

I was doing usmleworld and it said that you treat a stye with I&D, if warm compresses don't work after 48 hours. It also said you treat a chalzion by I&C. What exactly is the difference between I&D and I&C.

Also you want to use curettage in order to get all the inflammatory debris out of the chalazion. These are usually on the inner part of the eyelid so you want to get it all out on the first try and not have to repeat/ re-incise later.
