So, if you've been published online, is it cool to include the link to your article in your AMCAS? I'm guessing they will be reading it on a computer and would like to know more, if not just to make sure it's legit.
 
In my opinion, it's tacky. For one, your interviewer's first exposure to your application will likely be 10 minutes before you entering the room, so an online link isn't particularly important. Second, besides just doing your ECs your interviewer wants to know that you can present what you did. I think you're better off just explaining the research, mentioning that it was published, and elaborating if asked about in the interview.
 
Just cite it. A link is just tacky and they're not going to look it up anyways.
