Inconsistency in CARS? (third party vs AAMC)

I haven't been doing much CARS practice since I got 130+ on AAMC FL 1 before studying, but lately I have been getting much lower scores on third party practice tests. On all official AAMC material (FL 1, FL2) I've gotten upwards of 90% of the questions correct, but on all third party material (Altius, Kaplan, NS) I've scored 127-128. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this discrepancy and what I can expect on test day?

The only company you should trust your CARS score with are the ones that are creating the exam that you will be taking. Third party CARS are usually deflated or not overall consistent.

Yes, I've done the first one. I did a little worse on that one than than the two FLs (90% vs. 95-98%). I'm aiming for 520+, so I need to be able to count on a solid CARS score. Test is coming up in a week!

If you are doing well on the AAMC material, then don’t worry. They write the test, so their material is the most accurate.
