Incorporating studying for PAT?

So far I have been focusing almost exclusively on studying for the science sections--so I was wondering how did you guys incorporate studying for the PAT into your study schedule?

First I learned all the techniques to succeed in the section and took 1-2 tests untimed. Then I would try to write a full length PAT section once a week and review my answers the next day. (although I kind of slacked on this sometimes and had to take more than one per week)
