Hey guys,

I applied last cycle but didnt get in anywhere. Im looking for advice as to what I can do over the next year or two to boost my application and apply again.

so in general:
3.46 GPA 3.48 science GPA with a degree in mol. bio
506 mcat
2 years biochemistry research, 1st author publication hopefully by the end of this summer
1.5 years volunteering in an ER
took a year off after high school to volunteer with an organization overseas
tons of community service/outreach
shadowed 4 doctors
have 5 strong letters of rec.

The two main things i want to focus on are MCAT/GPA and I was looking for feedback on the GPA part as well as any other suggestions you might have.

-Should i look into masters programs or a post bacc program? which would help my gpa more and would either just look like a number padder if ive already taken a ton of science?
- Also i do need to work at least part time, a mans gotta eat, so If i just took classes at a nearby uni would that help? Or do they like to a see a structured program?
-What if i went and got a minor? I would be interesting in taking comp sci, but that wouldnt help science GPA would it?
-how about online/community college courses are these viewed negatively?

Ask any questions you have and i really appreciate the feedback!
