Hey,
Kaplan book is good.It gives you a superficial idea about the topics for exam.Dental decks n question papers are a must. You have to revise it as many times as possible before the exam. Many questions do come from old papers and decks.Pilot papers are good too. These are unreleased papers,You can get them from ASDA,ADA.Some unaware topics can be studied from text book(Genetics,Current developments in dentistry etc).I really don't know about the new format.Heard 20% of questions are clinical oriented.Hope this information will help you.Good luck.

Hey!
From what I heard, its as you say 20% clinical. And another major change is that all questions are mixed up.There are no separate subjects. This is the official ADA site that could answer some of your doubts http://www.ada.org/prof/ed/testing/nbde01/index.asp.
Also, get hold of the 2004 pilot paper. Its similar to the new pattern

thank you so much so kind of u to help me out
