I just got a letter from Indiana and on it I have to put my first choices for interview dates. Does this mean they are considering me for an interview or do they do this for most of their applicants?

Last year I got a letter and a postcard from them asking when I preferred to be interviewed. I would assume this means they are offering you an interview. Maybe they are doing it differently this year. Did they include a letter with it?

It was a letter saying that I need to send in a 45 dollar check with a picture and also they had a card with dates of interviews. I had to put down what my top 5 interview dates were. Does this mean I definately will receive and interview?

I would call and ask the school. I got a letter saying that I had been offered an interview along with the rest of the stuff you are describing. So its hard to say. Aphistis, or Perfect3435 may be able to shed some light on this.

i got the same letter, i am not sure if the school has genuine interest in us as applicants, i read the letter several times, it seems as to be a standard case that they interview all thier applicants. also i have recieved ac onfiramtion letter of an interview date, the letter states that our file will be reviewed after the interview. i think that clarifies up some stuff, its standard procedure for the school to interview us, what do you think?

To be honest, I can't answer this off the top of my head. I'll try to remember to stop by Dr. Kasberg's office Monday to ask him about it.

I received an interview invite, I am scheduled September 10th at 10:10, I am also participating in the PBL tutorial class that Indiana has setup. Thisi s to introduce PBL to people who have not had much experience and also to develop teachers skills on PBL who will act as mentors. The PBL begins on Thursday the 9th and ends on the 10th, interviews are conducted between those times. Take a look on the back of the interview time card, there is a date that you must have the times selected in by (I think 15 days from that date) and if not, they might forfeit your application, well that's what they say atleast. If anyone else is going to be at Indiana during that session please let me know! Good luck!
