Hey Guys

For those that applied to Indiana...

I got an invite for an interview only if my rec letters arrive within 20 days.

I am worried about the processing time of AADSAS regarding the letters.

I told my evaluators to send the letter directly to the school as well as to AADSAS.

Does anyone know if Indiana accepts letters directly?

I e-mailed them twice but they have not replied and I am going to call on Monday if my letter will be accepted....I am just in a panic mode right now....please help!!!

congrats on the invite! i'd just call AADSAS and confirm that they received your letters and sent them etc... and then tell Indiana that AADSAS is sending them. I'm sure the school will understand that you can't really hurry up the process

Indiana does accept letters sent directly to them. =] I sent an additional letter from my boss to indiana after an interview invite.

I would make sure to tell them that you will be sending the letters directly to them though. Good luck 🙂

It's not always that much strict!

So, call them and u will find the way!!

Actually, I have an interview at IUPUI.

I sent supplemental forms yesterday. They also requested me to send a bank statement, as I am an international student.

Sounds like "make $80K within 9 or 10 days" --> This is true considering mailing time!!

Just sent it one day after the reciept of that invitation letter, though!

I sent LORs to every school I applied to directly. AADSAS is a pain in the rear, so IU accepts them directly. I also received an interview there too. Good luck.

Okay so I called and they said it needs to go to aadsas and that the school does not accept it directly and I went to their site it states that it should be sent to aadsas............

okay I am in a panic mode

for those who sent it in directly did you confirm that the letters are accepted?

I think I am gonna call again later today

yes, i have gotten an interview from them too. nothing on the interview invite paper said that they have no received the letters. they have received mine and i sent them directly.

to UKgirl.....i would send them through aadsas if that is what indiana wants but at the same time i would send them directly as soon as possible. when i went through the application process last year both me and my wife had problems with our LOR as well so we jsut skipped aadsas because they suck and sent them all directly and it worked out fine and they all got accepted even though some of the schools said they wouldn't accept direct letters. just do it anyway and see what happens.

Question, I am going out of town for about the next 10 days and am anticipating a possible interview invite from Indiana. Did they send this invite in the mail and if so how many days did they say you had to reply to the invite? Thanks.

Yes the invite was through mail and within 20 days of receiving the letter you have to respond and send the required materials.

Sounds great! Be relaxed and look around the campus!!

My first wish date of the interview at IUPUI is Nov, 1st!

Hm...James Dean was born in Indiana state. Didn't know that!

I thought he was born in Cali.

I sent my materials via first class mail in the following afternoon after I'd received the invitation letter.

And, ur second question is a very good question. REally I am curious about that, too.
It is saying that AADSAS info can be viewed by each school u are applying to. (DAT scores can be downloaded, too!)

However, if I were u, I would call them. It's possible that they may connect with one of ADCOM memebers to get approval. Good luck!

All schools which you have designated have immediate electronic access
to all letters of evaluation in your application. The schools can see
when your paper format evaluation will be mailed to them as soon as the
evaluation is actually mailed to them.
