I'm #4 on the alternate list at Indiana. Anyone know my chances of getting in?

i don't know of your chances. don't be afraid to call or e-mail Dr. Kasberg, the director of admissions. he is super helpful and always willing to answer all of your questions.

best of luck!

when were you put on the waitlist as #4? are you on the state or out of state waitlist?

i do agree with the previous post. you should definitely stay in touch with Dr. Kasberg as he is the only who could tell you everything with certainty. IUSD has been known in the past for going really deep on their out of state waitlist.

good luck to you!

I started out at #22 a few months back on the out of state waitlist. Then on the March 15th, I called and was told I was #4. I will e-mail Dr. Kasberg. Thanks for the tip.

DO mind telling me your stats. What was the reason you were waitlisted.

the waitlist moved really fast after january, and for some reason, it started slowing down in march. im thinking all the deposits has been made, and spots are opening up only when someone decided to withdraw their acceptances. kasberg told me before that if your number is below 20, you should be safe. but like everyone said, dr. kasberg can give you a better answer than us.

I got an e-mail from Dr. Kasberg this morning. He said to wait until the 3rd week of April before making any further plans (housing, etc.). He said by then they should have a better idea of how the pool is moving.
So....still #4, still hoping!!!
