anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

i don't have any experience, but i would bet that these biopharm companies would look for experience. salary would prob be similar to academics. i think if you were MD/PhD that would be helpful as well.

before starting residency, I was told the only way to practice pathology focusing on a single subject, e.g. hematopathology, was to go into academics. What about getting a job in industry like with genzyme or oncotech? What is the salary, and job market like for hematopathologists in companies like genzyme? Do you necessarily have to have years of experience after completing fellowship? Thanks!

Genzyme and Oncotech are referral centers for specialized testing more a la Quest
