Does anyone have any info about this program? I can't even find a website for their residency program...
Would appreciate any info about scope, breakdown on what each of the 6 years involve, etc.
Thanks

From what I remember they have like 4-5 chairs for a walk-in clinic that is busy with extractions. Interns and GPR residents run that mostly with upper levels helping. The interns in the 6-year program have to study and take classes / step 1 during intern year. I remember one resident doing U World between seeing patients. I think they get a decent amount of trauma in the ED. During my 2 week externship I cannot remember going to the OR to see any trauma cases. I think they operate 1 day a week and the case I saw was a scope. They do implants for free if patients are willing do get them done under general anesthesia so they can fill the OR time.

I think this program has very good dentoalveolar experience, but I cannot attest to the rest of what they do in any significant way. Someone please correct me if any of the information above is wrong.

The OS residents, if I remember correctly, take call covering three Brooklyn hospitals: Kings County, Kingsbrook, and Maimonides.
