Info about Terminal Master's/Hartford's Clinical Pysch Program

hi! i've been searching for a terminal master's degree in clinical psych and was wondering if any of you could recommend good schools? i'm primarily interested in direct practice with clients, hopefully children, when i graduate.

i just came across universit of hartford's program which states that it prepares students for employment at the master's level for clinical work. the modules interest me and i'm keen on applying, but i can't seem to find any reviews about the program. does anyone know anything about this school? i'd appreciate it loads. 🙂

Just be sure that people with a clinical MS can legally do clinical work in the state you wish to seek employment. In some states they can only serve as psychometricians.

I live in Singapore, and because the psychology profession isn't as strictly regulated here, I will be able to get a job as a psychologist once I complete my Master's! My degree is from the Uni at Buffalo, and I'd really like to further my studies in the States, but seeing as the best schools offer only doctorate programs, I'm having a bit of trouble figuring out what my options are. Thanks for the tip though!

There are plenty of "best schools" that offer solid master's level training in clinical, counseling and social work.

What are some good clinical psych programs you know of? I've looked at many top schools in psychology but find only doctorate programs in those schools, and for the schools that do offer a terminal MS, I can't find good reviews, so I feel pretty lost.

I've been looking at MSWs with a clinical focus as well, but to practise as a psychologist back in my country I would actually need a MS in clinical psychology.
