Info about U. of Miami Alternate List

I got placed on their alternate list and i was wondering if anybody has any info about their list. Maybe how fast it moves? or what percent of people on the list get accepted? or How significant is it to update your file? Thanks

I just called the admissions office today and they told me that they are putting pretty much everyone on the alternate list. They told me the waitlist should be moving around May 15.

I interviewed Feb 20. I had to wait six weeks to hear that I got pu t on the alternate list.

I was wondering if anyone knows anybody that was on the alternate list and actually got accepted?
