Anyone know how I can access info on DO school's average MCAT and GPA? AACOM's College Information Book seems to only mention mean GPAs of all Osteopathic students.

Apologies if this has already been covered in another thread

Check their websites, but not every school has recent numbers. Or even close to recent. I think the numbers PCOM lists are from like 2004.

I've been a pretty big fan of Princeton Review's Best 168 Medical Schools. They break down MCAT averages by section and include GPA by school.

most of the DO schools dont even have GPAs listed 😱 why would that be? Some of the MD school listings seem pretty high, but a good estimate.

I think the one garypharm gave is more accurate, Since they have touro ny average stats, it has to be fairly recent (which are correct since they handed them out in the interviews).

Yeah, it's missing a good amount of data, but overall I'm happy with this $10 purchase. The new one comes out in October. Luckily I won't need to waste shelf space on yet another book on medical school admissions. Geez. 🙄

I think the DO stats are off to be honest. I was on CCOM's website yesterday and they said the average MCAT for 07 was a 27 ... this site has it at like a 25.

and the MD stats are inflated....go figure 🙄
