Info on Touro-NV

[loldanny913]

I am looking for information on Touro-NV. I was curious to know the class sizes, and the matriculation statistics of the upcoming class.

I am also curious as to the quality of education, and experience students from Touro-NV have received (Alumni or current students if you have advice!).

I am currently in the process of beginning a heavy grade restoration and taking my science pre-reqs (I am a business major). I was interested in Touro because it would be the cheapest option... Being >10 minutes from my parents house.

Thank you!

Touro nv is a solid school. Class size is 135. They have above average board scores and they're OPTI is pretty good with a fair amount of residencies.

Facilities are lacking however

I believe admission stats are along the lines of 3.5/28

Thank you.

I also noticed they have a Masters program. I was looking into the possibility of doing their Masters' prior to applying for their DO program.

As I stated in my original post, my GPA is on the weaker side 2.6 -- I worked throughout college, and started a business. Overall, I received good grades on exams, but I lost a lot of points for never showing up to class. I am hoping to get my GPA up to a ~3.0-3.2 before applying. Do you know if their Masters' program gives priority admission?

Very solid school with probably some of the best rotations of any DO school in the country, mainly because it's the only medical school in a metropolitan area of over two million people. (Note that two MD schools at UNLV and Roseman are in the works to open in the next few years, so this could change soon.) Open door faculty policy, an entire research institute housed at the medical school (also rare for private DO schools), 15 minutes from the Strip and 10 minutes from the airport, and Dr. Preddy.

On the downside, it's literally a warehouse haha
