Hello,
I'm a 4th year Medical student in Pakistan (5 year Course) and hoping to get PR very soon. I'm planning to do Electives (next year) in Ontario because i heard that they are very generous to IMG's (In future)😀
I wish to do my electives in Internal Medicine (specifically Cardiology but it can be variable). Can anyone tell me, What should be my Preference, if 6 Med schools of Ontario are considered ?

I'll defer to some of the med students on here, but I've heard that it's nearly impossible for foreign medical grads (even those who are Canadian) to get a spot.

My husband and I are from Ontario and we haven't been able to find anything because my husband did not attend U of T medical school.

The fact that you aren't Canadian (and presumably have less connections) should make it insanely difficult. Try another province and get good LoRs. Or go to the USA.
