I am happy to be soon joining the pharmacy profession in to 2006. I wanted some info from second, third, and forth year students about their schools.. I applied to Nova, Palm Beach Atlantic, Mercer, Samford and Campbell. I wanted to know about faculty student relations, attrition rate in first and second years, board success/failure rates, and anything else I should know to make my decision.....

Nova????

Palm Beach Atlantic????

Mercer???

Samford????

Campbell????

you sound like you are so sure you can get into Pharmacy school, what is your GPA, PCAT, and other stuffs buddy!?

LOL... I don't think nimette meant it like that...

yes, i am the first one to submit to the school 🙂 i sent mine in the first day they have their supplemental application and my pharmcas file is a complete filed in June 10 already...just study my PCAT for October, June didnt do well

while the core of these schools are similar (private) they are VERY VERY different schools. i would base my main decisions on my opinions of the curriculum as well as enviornment.

i attend samford. we are not on block scheduling.
our professors care about the students more than you would ever imagine. so that relationship is excellent.

attrition rate in first and second year? well..... if you're stupid its not so good for you. I don't know about this last class but i'd say they average 1-2 people lost in the first year.

the last board pass info i heard was up in the 90s here.... not really sure about that though...

good luck
