What do people usually wear when visiting a school (not an interview) to talk to an admission counselor? Will a dress shirt, slacks, and dress shoes work?

if you haven't been admitted yet...dress it up, you never know who you'll run into/whether your application is still under active consideration. So yeah, slacks, hell even a polo shirt, and some nice shoes will work. Don't need a tie.

If you've already been admitted...jeans and maybe a nice polo is fine, just don't wear a big oversized t-shirt with an obama mural all over it or something obnoxious. haha

May I recommend a pair of leather pants and a fish net shirt.(you can add a tie if you like) Especially if you're applying to any of my schools. It will show that you're professional yet a man of style. You got this man. Do it. Do it.
