Hello,

What kind of a pharmacy candidate is best suited for an informatics residency?
My GPA is 3.4. It's not the best but I have been told it's not bad. I am good with interviews and getting along with people, in general. I don't have issues getting letter of recommendations. But I don't have any experience with coding or programming. Do I have to have a natural affinity for coding to consider informatics residency? Where can I find more information on this field?

Does anyone know what it is like. I would appreciate any input.

Thank you.

You have to have a natural affinity for workflow analysis and technical translation between various parties to be considered a good candidate for informatics. That means you do need some technical knowledge, but it does not have to be independently extensive. But, if you cannot communicate, then it's not workable.
