Depending on which non-clinical IT department, this could be a great thing if you're looking to get exposure to such things like EHR project management, data teams, sysadmin roles, etc. I've noticed these full IT roles are way more remote friendly anyhow.
The willow path is a great way to settle into pharmacy informatics, but it does narrow your scope. I've done EHR config in willow and other legacy EHRs for so long now, I can't wait to get out.
