I just had a meeting with the informatics director. I think. I was expecting to be put in Willow training, for the new EPIC implementation, however, they are taking me out of my current role, informatics and putting me in another non-clinical IT department?
they said the wanted me to help integrate legacy systems with epic?
I have no background in this whatsoever and I am even further away from clinical stuff.
I dont think there is a EPIC cert for this either. EPIC implementation is a two year project.
Need guidance. I have no idea what I would do in this new non-clinical IT role?
